Quick weekend trip to Chicago. Blackhawks had an open practice on Friday so we went to check it out. In typical US hockey rink style you could stand at ice level watching through the glass or go upstairs. We went upstairs and the only thing between the ice and the seating was a 3 ft glass wall. Kiyo could have dropped his hat over the top and landed it on Joel Quenville’s head! Gotta say – impressive to watch these guys, even for a practice. Full tilt and rocket shots.
Next stop was the United Center for a shot with Michael Jordan!
