Oh bother. Due to construction delays, Buffalo Rubbing Stone Elementary School was unable to open for the September 6th first day of school. So the children were packed on busses and shipped across town to a school in the NE. Kiyoshi opted to stay at his preschool for the three extra weeks they needed to finish enough of the school to open the doors.
And today was it! Buffalo Rubbing Stone is open! Kiyoshi has been so excited to get his back pack on and get going.
And off he went 🙂
School opened at 8:30 instead of 8:00 today so that the parents could take a tour. Was a fun morning!
Lots of games and puzzles and activities for the kids in their rooms. And some of his friends from preschool are in his class too.
