Ok I get a fail because I can’t use technology and my screenshot was a blackout which almost makes sense but that part isn’t what I’m talking about.
Watching Vancouver NYR and it’s a usual Vancouver Canucks night. NY is up 3-0 halfway through the first period.
Kiyoshi says to me “Daddy the Canucks have no goals!”.
Which … they don’t. But I didn’t know he knew how to read a scoreboard on the TV. Or how he knew that it was Vancouver that had no goals. Although you could apply deductive reasoning and have better than 50/50 odds of being right and the VAN beside the 0 might have been a clue.
And while I’m fumbling with my phone trying to get another screenshot Boeser finished a nice setup from Horvat so now they do have a goal and I can’t get a screenshot of the goose egg Kiyoshi saw.
So no photo for this post sadly. Although I suppose I could take a screenshot from any other Canucks game, pretty good chance of seeing a 0 on any given night.
So after he says no goals, I said “yes sadly that sounds like the Canucks. Better get used to it.”
