On a different day, . . . where we would decorate for Christmas up and down the street, . . . In Calgary it’s Halloween. There are pop up mall stores – BIG stores where wholesalers come in and set up shop. Everywhere in the city. Maybe it’s this big business everywhere else too and we can’t see past the cow fields from here. Costumes, decorations, and on and on and on.
Can’t say we understand it, but it looks pretty cool when you are roaming the streets on Halloween night in dark clothing that makes it hard for cars passing by to see the hundreds of goblins running from house to house. We didn’t go far, and there was so much to see. Oh and so much candy to eat “hold” for Kiyoshi while he kept running and re-filling his bucket.
